Zagra is a small village of just over 1,000 people in a pretty setting to the North of Loja in the Poniente Granadino. It has all the basics for daily life but if you are prepared to travel a little further everything is to hand
The village, despie it’s small size, has a wide range of attractive and interesting places to visit including an Arab castle, dolmen, the remains of a Visigoth mill and several old churches whilst the rolling hills all around provide a spectacular and far reaching back drop.

Fiestas de la Cruz (2 al 4 de mayo). Fiestas de la Cruz (2 to 4 May).
Romería de San Antonio (13 de junio). Pilgrimage of San Antonio (June 13).
Fiestas Patronales de San Lorenzo (10 de agosto). Patron Saint of San Lorenzo (10 August).
Feria y Fiestas Mayores (11 al 13 de septiembre). Fair and Festivals Seniors (11 to 13 September).
